Alleged N109b fraud: Ex-Accountant-General Idris returned about $900,000 in cash – witness

A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Maitama heard on Tuesday that the suspended Accountant-General of the Federation (AG-F), Ahmed Idris voluntary returned about $900,000 part of the public funds he allegedly diverted. The court also heard how N84.7billion was taken from the $2.2billion due to the nine oil producing states and shared by some senior government officials. Comedian, Basketmouth questions EFCC boss over corrupt politicians who walk freely

Famous Nigerian comedian and actor, Bright Okpocha, popularly known by his stage name as Basketmouth, has questioned the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa over the low chance of conviction for politically exposed persons in the country. EFCC confirms arrest of Cubana Chief Priest

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has confirmed that the popular Instagram celebrity, Pascal Okechukwu popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, is currently in their custody. Reports emerged at the weekend that the commission arrested Pascal at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in the nation’s capital while he was traveling to Owerri, the Imo State capital. Today, 10th November 2021, a lot of drama occurred in the premises of the Court when the DSS prevented some members of Nnamdi Kanu's Legal Team and Supporters from accessing the court with the excuse that the instruction came from the Federal Government. But when the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu arrives court,, he personally confronted DSS officials and inquires the reasons for refusal of some members of his legal team access into the courtroom. it almost resulted serious argument but for the quick intervention of some court officials around.
