The Kogi State Government on Friday ordered the arrest and prosecution of individuals and businesses rejecting the old naira notes. A statement by Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo congratulated Nigerians on the “historic ruling of the Supreme Court”. Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo, has said that the State Government has facts to disprove the allegation of the bailout funds by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The EFCC had confirmed the return of N19. 33 billion Kogi State salary bailout funds, recovered by the Commission, to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
