Kidnapped APC campaign director shot dead in Rivers State

Mr. Chisom Lennard, the Campaign Director of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ahoada-West Local Government Area of Rivers State who was abducted by gunmen on Saturday has been killed. The deceased was reportedly abducted by the unknown gunmen who were dressed in police uniform while he was casting his vote at Ibagwa polling unit 2, Ward 10 in Ahoada West LGA. Lennard was exercising his franchise during the governorship and state assembly elections when the incident happened. Thugs invade INEC office in Obingwa Local Government Area

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Sunday said hoodlums invaded its office in Abia State. The electoral body made the revelation in a Twitter post on its verified page. “Thugs have invaded our Obingwa Local Government Area office in Abia State. “Security agencies have been alerted. INEC Postpones Elections In 10 Lagos Polling Units

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the ongoing governorship and state assembly elections in 10 polling units in Lagos State.
