The House of Representatives member-elect for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa has received his Certificate of Return following his victory at the just concluded National Assembly election.
Osonwa, a candidate of the Labour Party (LP), was on February 27, declared as the winner of the Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency seat by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He polled 8,946 votes to defeat his closest rival, Chief Dan Okeke of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who scored 6,635 votes.
After receiving his certificate of return on Wednesday in Abuja, Osonwa told newsmen of his determination to make the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency proud with quality representation.
Osonwa, who is a renowned financial expert, described the event as the beginning of a new dawn, saying his representation would usher in the much desired prosperity through an all-inclusive representation.
