Mr. Chisom Lennard, the Campaign Director of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ahoada-West Local Government Area of Rivers State who was abducted by gunmen on Saturday has been killed. The deceased was reportedly abducted by the unknown gunmen who were dressed in police uniform while he was casting his vote at Ibagwa polling unit 2, Ward 10 in Ahoada West LGA. The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Sunday said hoodlums invaded its office in Abia State. The electoral body made the revelation in a Twitter post on its verified page. “Thugs have invaded our Obingwa Local Government Area office in Abia State. “Security agencies have been alerted. At least three persons suspected to be political thugs have been killed in Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State.
