At least two police officers were killed in an attack on a patrol van along the historic Gariki Road in Okigwe Local Government Area, Imo State, by gunmen who had been thought to be insurgents. How lady leaped into river from a speeding boat in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the report that a woman purportedly leaped into the river from a moving boat after boarding a boat from Igando, Lagos State, to Ogun. The woman was already being sought after by rescue crews, according to command spokesman SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the event to reporters on Sunday night. 80-Year-Old Man Dies by Suicide in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the tragic incident of an 80-year-old man allegedly taking his own life in the Imota area of the state. According to the Command's Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the incident was reported by Mustapha, the landlord of the deceased, to the Imota Police Division around 12:26 a.m. on Friday.
