Sad: Four Catholic Reverend Sisters kidnapped in Imo

Gunmen wreaking havoc in parts of the southeast have abducted four Reverend sisters of the Catholic Church in Imo State. The incident occurred on Sunday at the popular Okigwe-Enugu Road while the victims were on their way to mass on Sunday morning. The development was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary-General of the Sisters Of Jesus The Saviour, Sister Zita Ihedoro. The statement identified the abductees as sisters Johannes Nwodo, Christabel Echemazu, Liberata Mbamalu, and Benita Agu. Shooters abduct businessman, others in Imo State, kill mechanic

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers on Friday evening killed an auto mechanic identified as Valentine Enwerem and kidnapped a businessman identified as Aloysius Onuekwusi. The incident happened after a U-turn, at Nkwo Orji market junction on Owerri-Okigwe Road in Owerri North Local Government Area, Imo State. Abuja prison attack: FG releases details of escaped Boko Haram terrorists

The Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) has published the details and images of the 68 Boko Haram suspects who escaped from the Kuje prison. According to a BBC Pidgin report, officials have also promised to release details of other prisoners who escaped from the facility. A Catholic priest in Ikabigbo community, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, popularly known as Rev. Father Osia was on Sunday morning kidnapped by gunmen.
