As the race for the Abia North Senatorial seat gathers momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, I believe Rt. Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole has demonstrated the experience, courage and commitment required to represent the people of Abia North Senatorial Zone.
My confidence in Uko Nkole is rooted in his political record and previous service in the National Assembly. As a former representative of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, he understands the responsibilities of legislative representation and the importance of speaking up for the people.

I see him as a leader who is prepared to confront the challenges facing his constituents and push for decisions that improve their welfare. His experience in the National Assembly provides a foundation on which he can build a stronger case for Abia North at the Senate.
For me, equity, fairness and transparency must remain central to representation. Every community deserves to be heard, and the benefits of democratic governance should not be concentrated in a few places at the expense of others.
These are the principles I associate with Uko Nkole’s political journey and the qualities I believe should guide his next legislative assignment.
As he seeks the Abia North Senatorial seat on the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), I believe voters should carefully consider his experience, record and commitment to equitable representation.
The 2027 election presents another opportunity for the people of Abia North to assess the candidates and decide who they believe can best articulate their interests at the National Assembly.
For me, Uko Nkole has made a compelling case for consideration.
