Last Saturday marked a historic milestone in Aba Federal Constituency as Hon. Alex Mascot Ikwechegh monitored the distribution of his food palliative initiative, bringing joy and relief to residents. The initiative is just one of many accomplishments under his transformative leadership.
Since taking office, Hon. Ikwechegh has:
Refurbished and retrofitted schools across the constituency
Distributed transformers to areas plagued by darkness
Conducted rural grading and palliative works on internal and major roads
Trained, equipped, and funded over 500 individuals in various skills and crafts (with 4,500 more on the way)
Illuminated Aba with thousands of solar-powered lights to curb crime and enhance night activities
Secured two brand-new buses for free transportation of school children and residents
Provided twice-yearly free transportation for Aba residents during the Yuletide season
Distributed learning materials to schools
Made uncountable donations to constituents in need
Cleared hospital bills for constituents
Periodically distributed petrol, kerosene, and foodstuffs to cushion the effects of the harsh economy
