Awka, Anambra State – The International Convention Centre in Awka today played host to the highly anticipated NIPR Anambra 2026 Summit and Annual General Meeting, drawing communication professionals, stakeholders, and dignitaries from across the country. The event, themed “Managing Reputation Capital in the Digital Age: Influence, Integrity and Impact,” kicked off at 10:00 a.m. with a promise to stimulate meaningful dialogue on the future of reputation management.
The summit commenced earlier at 8:30 a.m. with complimentary medical screenings organized by the Anambra State Ministry of Health, offering blood pressure, blood sugar, and HIV tests. Participants also enjoyed interactive brand showcases, technical support, and promotional engagements from MTN Nigeria, among other partners. These pre-event activities provided attendees with an opportunity to network, gain insights, and benefit from health and wellness initiatives.


The keynote panelists emphasized the critical role of integrity, influence, and digital strategy in building sustainable reputation capital. The insights shared discussions and interactions with a wide array of communication experts.
The summit was further distinguished by the presence of RATTAWU President, Comrade Prince Emeka Kalu, popularly known as “Magic Fingers,” who arrived directly from the Uni Africa Conference in Ghana. The esteemed presence of the Guest of honor, the Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, Anambra Commissioner of Information, Dr Law Mefor, and other dignitaries marked a moment of celebration, with the governor formally recognizing Prince Kalu as an adopted son of Anambra State.

Also present at the event, were prominent personalities, including HRM Igwe Achebe Agbogidi Obi of Onitsha, former Information Commissioner Sir Paul Nwosu, former ABS MD Chido Obidiegwu, and other notable figures.
RATTAWU President Prince Emeka Kalu, flanked by the RATTAWU First Lady Ifeoma Kalu, and other members were awarded by the NIPR President and President of the Global Alliance, Dr. Ikeneliaku, in recognition of Prince Kalu’s outstanding professional achievements.


The summit concluded on a high note with an acknowledgment of the collective efforts of the Local Organizing Committee, led by Dr. Nelson Omenugha, MNIPR, and participants were reminded of upcoming engagements in Akwa Ibom and Rivers States, where RATTAWU President Prince Emeka Kalu will receive similar receptions. The 2026 NIPR Summit & AGM in Anambra not only reinforced the importance of reputation management in modern communication but also showcased the state’s commitment to fostering professional growth and stakeholder collaboration.
