The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, yesterday flagged off the Labour Party Campaign for the 2027 General Elections. It was a great event that brought together who is who in Abia State.
The Accountant General of Abia State, Deaconess Njum Nnennaya Uma-Onyemenam FCA, in an interview with journalists during the event, congratulated her boss, the Governor of Abia State, and his Deputy, on the successful flag-off.
She also congratulated all Labour Party candidates, from the National Assembly to the State Assembly.
She encouraged all Professionals, Accountants in the state , Ohafia women and indeed all Abia women to roll up their sleeves and work towards the re-election of Governor Alex Otti and all Labour Party candidates, describing them as God-sent to make Abia State a better place.
The highlight of the event was the handing over of Labour Party flags to all the candidates by the National Working Committee and the inauguration of the Campaign Advisory Council, led by the former Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu, PhD.
