Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor “De Ultimate Commander” (Ikenga Gburugburu of Ohafia and Nneato Ancient Kingdoms), has expressed profound appreciation to the people of Umunneochi Local Government Area and every stakeholder whose commitment ensured the resounding success of the grand civic reception organised in honour of the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR.

Reflecting on the historic event held at Peace Secondary School, Amuda, Isuochi, Ambassador Offor described the massive turnout and overwhelming display of solidarity as a clear demonstration that the people of Umunneochi have embraced the vision of purposeful leadership, good governance and continuity.

He noted that the reception was far more than a political gathering, saying it was a celebration of the transformational leadership that has continued to redefine governance in Abia State through strategic investments in infrastructure, healthcare, education, security, transportation and inclusive development.

Ambassador Offor particularly applauded Governor Otti’s reassuring commitment to completing the Mmam Bridge project, expanding the state’s Electric Bus Green Shuttle services to Umunneochi, improving road connectivity, strengthening healthcare delivery and sustaining investments that directly improve the lives of ordinary Abians.

According to him, the Governor’s message of equitable development and his resolve to leave no community behind have continued to inspire confidence among the people, making him a symbol of hope for a greater and more prosperous Abia.

The philanthropist and community leader extended heartfelt appreciation to the Mayor of Umunneochi Local Government Area, Chief Sunny Afurobi, for providing purposeful leadership and mobilising the people towards a peaceful and well-coordinated reception worthy of the Governor.

He also commended the Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, for his unwavering support, commitment to grassroots development and continued partnership in advancing the progress of Umunneochi and Abia State.

Ambassador Offor further appreciated the leadership and members of the Labour Party, whose unity and organisational strength contributed immensely to the success of the event, as well as the formal reception of new members into the party.

He equally recognised the remarkable efforts of the Abia Arise Movement, OTTIMANIA Movement, the United Abia Artistes and Patriots (UAAP) Forum, community leaders, youth organisations, women groups, traditional institutions, religious leaders, security agencies, volunteers and numerous support groups whose collective sacrifices made the event memorable.

Special appreciation was also extended to the good people of Umunneochi Local Government Area for turning out in large numbers to honour Governor Alex Otti and for demonstrating their belief in the administration’s transformational agenda.

Ambassador Offor described the unity displayed across political, traditional and community lines as a strong indication that Abians are determined to sustain the ongoing developmental strides across the state.

He stated that the renewed commitment expressed by the people towards continuity reflects growing public confidence in a government that has consistently delivered on its promises through transparent, people-oriented and impactful governance.
