Umuahia, 12th April 2026 – Chief Chidiebere J. Okoh, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, has thrown his weight behind Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu in the party’s 2027 governorship race.

In a statement released today, Chief Okoh commended Kalu’s dedication to strengthening the APC’s presence and stabilizing party structures in Abia State. He emphasized that Kalu’s consistent engagement with party members and grassroots stakeholders has positioned him as a unifying figure whose vision aligns with the aspirations of Abians.
