Minister of Works, David Umahi, has come out in strong defense of President Bola Tinubu, stating that those criticizing the president’s reform efforts are motivated by jealousy and should be considered enemies of Nigeria.
Umahi expressed confidence that Tinubu’s reform agenda will ultimately benefit the economy, and that all stakeholders are working together to achieve this goal.

He attributed criticism of the Lagos-Calabar coastal project to envy and jealousy, emphasizing that the project will drive growth in every state across the country.
The minister also praised Tinubu’s commitment to completing projects initiated by his predecessor, a move he considers rare and commendable. According to Umahi, the president’s efforts are already yielding positive results, despite initial skepticism from critics.
