On Monday, the Federal Executive Council gave its approval to the appropriation bill for the year 2024, which is expected to be presented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu along with a total of N27.5 trillion.
Ministers, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the national security adviser, and a few other high-ranking government officials, including permanent secretaries, are all members of the Council, which is the highest policy-forming body for the federal government.
