Peter Obi Village Coordinators Inaugurated In Isiugwu Ohafia, Pay Courtesy Call On Ezieogo Okorie Ukpe


Rt. Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) Senatorial Candidate, on Sunday, 06/09/2026, held the inaugural meeting of supporters and coordinators of the Peter Obi and Uko Nkole political and other NDC candidates village campaign council in Isiugwu Ohafia, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, as part of ongoing grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.

The meeting focused on strengthening village-level coordination and grassroots voters’ education for the NDC Party logo within the community, with emphasis on the Peter Obi presidential project and the candidacy of Uko Nkole for Abia North Senatorial District and other NDC candidates.

In his submission, Mr. Eyeh Agwu, Isiugwu community youth leader, recalled Hon. Nkole’s interventions in the area of completion of the Obayi Bridge embarked on by the youths of the community, Hon. Nkole’s proactive security measures to protect the community from attack and nipping in the bud the then-looming security breach between farmers and herders, possible clashes in the community, modern educational instructional materials, etc., and pledged their support for a known performer.

Mr. Eyeh subsequently led Hon. Nkole and the delegation to a courtesy call on the traditional ruler of Isiugwu Autonomous Community, Ezieogo Okorie Ukpe, to formally introduce the team and their mission to the community, and Hon. Nkole sought for the support, cooperation, and goodwill of the traditional institution. The traditional leader blessed HE Peter Obi and Hon. Nkole’s presidential and Abia North Senatorial ambitions, respectively.
