The incident occurred on Friday, May 3, at 8:30 p.m. after he returned to the government residence from an assignment with Governor Abba Yusuf. The bullet struck Naziru's shoulder, causing minor injuries. He was immediately taken to the Government House Clinic, where he received treatment and was later discharged.
