‘We will prove EFCC wrong with facts’, Kogi govt reacts to N19.3bn salary bailout

Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo, has said that the State Government has facts to disprove the allegation of the bailout funds by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The EFCC had confirmed the return of N19. 33 billion Kogi State salary bailout funds, recovered by the Commission, to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Today, 10th November 2021, a lot of drama occurred in the premises of the Court when the DSS prevented some members of Nnamdi Kanu's Legal Team and Supporters from accessing the court with the excuse that the instruction came from the Federal Government. But when the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu arrives court,, he personally confronted DSS officials and inquires the reasons for refusal of some members of his legal team access into the courtroom. it almost resulted serious argument but for the quick intervention of some court officials around.
