Manuel Neuer has expressed disappointment following FC Bayern Munich’s exit from the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
The veteran goalkeeper admitted that Bayern failed to show enough sharpness in front of goal during their semi-final clash against Paris Saint-Germain F.C. at the Allianz Arena.

Goals from Ousmane Dembélé and Harry Kane saw the second-leg encounter end in a 1-1 draw. However, the French champions secured qualification to the final with a 6-5 aggregate victory.
Reacting after the match, Neuer admitted Bayern came close but lacked the decisive finishing needed to book a place in the final.
“We were missing that clinical edge in attack,” Neuer said after the game.
“We didn’t create too many clear chances, but there were still enough opportunities for us to win. We were within touching distance of the final, but we just couldn’t make it happen.
“One important moment or an earlier goal could have changed everything. Sadly, our equaliser arrived too late.”
