The Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU) has honoured High Chief Abraham Otti, popularly known as “Mighty Mighty” and Ikenga Umuchu, in recognition of his remarkable humanitarian services and steadfast commitment to the welfare of humanity.
The recognition, presented in Anambra State, celebrates High Chief Otti’s sustained efforts in uplifting the less privileged, supporting vulnerable individuals, and contributing to community development through philanthropic interventions that have impacted countless lives.


According to RATTAWU, the honour forms part of the Union’s strategic initiative to identify, celebrate, and encourage distinguished Nigerians whose selfless contributions continue to inspire hope and foster social progress across communities. The recognition also aligns with activities marking the build-up to RATTAWU’s Golden Jubilee Anniversary, tagged “RATTAWU @50,” scheduled for next year.
Presenting the award, RATTAWU National President, Comrade Prince Emeka Kalu, popularly known as “Magic Fingers,” described High Chief Abraham Otti as an exceptional philanthropist whose humanitarian gestures have brought relief, hope, and opportunities to many individuals and families.
Comrade Kalu noted that societies flourish when individuals blessed with influence and resources dedicate themselves to the service of humanity. He emphasized that High Chief Otti’s exemplary lifestyle, generosity, and unwavering commitment to uplifting the less privileged deserve recognition, celebration, and emulation by others.
He further stressed that honouring impactful personalities like High Chief Otti remains central to RATTAWU’s mission of promoting humanitarian values and encouraging community-oriented leadership across Nigeria.

The award presentation ceremony attracted the presence of key national officers of the Union, including the National Treasurer, National Publicity Secretary, National Coordinator of the Women Committee, Deputy Women Coordinator, Zonal Organising Secretary for the South-East, alongside other RATTAWU representatives from Anambra State.
Speaking after receiving the honour, High Chief Abraham Otti expressed profound gratitude to RATTAWU for finding him worthy of such prestigious recognition, describing the award as both humbling and motivating.
According to him, the honour would further strengthen his determination to continue serving humanity and touching lives positively.
“Whatever I have been able to achieve is by the grace of God,” he said, while reaffirming his commitment to giving back to society in appreciation of God’s abundant blessings upon his life.
High Chief Otti assured the Union and members of the public that the recognition would inspire him to expand his humanitarian activities and intensify support for vulnerable groups, the less privileged, and community development initiatives.
